Information we collect

When you order: your name, company, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, need-by date, order notes, and what you bought. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
When you create an account: your login email and password (stored encrypted), saved addresses, and order history.
When you contact us or apply for credit: the details you type into the form, such as your business name, address, expected volume and message.
When you join our email list: your email address and whether you open or click our emails.
When you browse: basic technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited and general location (city or region), collected through cookies and Google Analytics.

How we use it

To make, ship and deliver your order, and to send order confirmations and tracking updates.
To check that your shipping address is valid so your shells arrive on time.
To answer your questions, review credit applications and handle damage claims.
To send our newsletter and holiday reminders, only if you signed up. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.
To understand how people use our site so we can improve it.
To prevent fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed with companies that help us run the business:

Stripe, to process payments.
ShipStation, UPS and FedEx, to create shipping labels and deliver your order.
Loqate, to verify shipping addresses at checkout.
Mailchimp, to send our email newsletter.
Google (Google Workspace and Google Analytics), for email and site statistics.
Our website host and developer, who keep the site running and secure.

We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, customers or the public.

Cookies

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We use them to keep items in your cart, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, usually seven years. Account information stays until you ask us to delete your account. Email list information stays until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

See or update your details anytime under My Account.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. You will still get emails about your orders.
Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some order records the law requires.

Security

Our site uses encryption (HTTPS) and payments run through Stripe’s secure systems. No website is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our site is meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
