Beer Can Chicken


  • 1 -whole chicken ~3lbs
  • 1 -12 Oz can of beer
  • smoked paprika
  • brown sugar


  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; 350-375Degrees F. Dry skin of chicken and season liberally with salt, pepper, brown sugar, and smoked paprika. Position open cavity of chicken on top of standing beer can and cook on indirect heat of grill until internal temp reaches 160 Degrees F. Reserve crisp chicken skin for taco garnish.
